The Brew Looks Solid With 2-1 Start

If the first three games are any indication of how the Milwaukee Brewers are going to fair this season, I like their chances. Three solid starts with solid bullpen work, Villanueva not withstanding, and decent hitting have given the Brew a respectable 2-1 start.

The Brewers were so close to starting 3-0. They just couldn't get that much needed timely hit in the 5th inning with the bases loaded and in the 9th leaving Fielder stranded after hitting a double with nobody out.

Starting 2-1 against a formidable Dodgers ballclub is a nice way open the season; I'll take it. I'm chomping at the bit to see the Brew's lineup firing on all cylinders. That will truly be awesome.

What say you?
