Eight Game Road Trip True Test

Last year the road was not a very hospitable place for the Brewers. Last night the Crew took its traveling show to Florida where it was winless last season. New year, same result. The Brew took one on the chin 5-3. A costly error in the field and on the base paths by Bill Hall and the lack of hitting with runners in scoring position proved to be too much for Milwaukee to overcome.

Let's hope that the Brewers can get a win tonight and come home next week with at least a 4-4 record away from Miller Park. Even though the Brewers play in the challenged NL Central Division and 84-85 wins probably will be good enough to win the title, a poor showing on its first road trip of the year could rattle this team. It certainly is no time for panic. I think the Brewers have some talent and will be fine. That being said, hopefully Yost and company can settle the club down and help the Crew rattle off a couple of much needed wins.

What say you?
