One Year Deal For Bush

The Brewers avoided arbitration again and inked Dave Bush to a one year deal. I like it. I think as a Brewers pitcher Bush has done a real nice job for the Brew. Sure, his ERA was over five last year.... But he led the team in quality starts and strikouts. Bush gives the Brewers versatility because he can spot start, log innings in the pen and has a terrific work ethic.

Bush keeps himself in great shape. Who knows? Maybe his durability and great training regimate will inspire Ben Sheets to work harder at his conditioning. One can only dream.

Good move, Crew! Now the Brew has another reliable arm at its disposal and gives it more options and flexibility in its ability to possibly make a trade.

I can't wait for the season to begin, folks.

What say You?
