Milwaukee Brewers Struggle Against Cardinals Again; Risk Getting Swept

At the time of this post, the Milwaukee Brewers are down 3-0 in the bottom of the 6th inning in St. Louis. The Crew's punchless offense is proving no match for the Cardinals. The cards came into today's game 11-4 with the major league's best starting pitching statistics.

I know it's early folks and the Brewers entered today 8-6. But, I'll tell ya what, the lack of hitting from Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder is starting to create a little concern for yours truly. Again, it's only game 15. I do like this Brewer squad and I think they will be ok. That being said, I am concerned about the fact that they can't seem to beat the Cardinals. What's up with that? Why can't they fare any better against Tony Larussa and company?

Before this long, challenging nine game road trip I would have accepted a 4-5 record. It's starting to look like 3-7 might be the best fans can hope for.

Hopefully, the Crew can get the bats going and finish this road trip on a possitive note.

The Brewers are back at Miller Park Monday and promptly face these same Cardinals that are presently making the Crew look pretty bad. Get out to the park folks and help turn things around for the Brew.

What say You?
