Milwaukee Brewers Try to Even Series Against Nationals

Ben Sheets takes the ball today in DC and will try to get the Brewers a much needed victory. A win would get the Crew to 4-6 on this long ten day road trip.

The Brewers started this three city road trip in rough fashion, getting swept in three games in Boston.

The Crew turned things around and won two out of three games in Pittsburgh.

Now they're in our nation's capitol and will head for home tonight, hopefully with a 2-2 split.

It sure would be nice to see the Brewers put eveything together. A good performance from the starting pitcher; timely hitting; solid defense and reliable relief from the bullpen. This just hasn't been happening for the Crew this year.

Let's see if the Brewers can get one today and then see if they can get things rolling at home where they sure could use some much needed home cooking at Miller Park.

Let's Go Brewers!!

Looks like home cooking is what the Brewers needed. I agree that the team is underachieving, but we do have the chance to move to .500 today with a win over the Astros. Sheets is pitching, so we will be favored in that game.
