Running out of time to Vote for the Brew Crew

Warning. Chick writer which means little depth and lots of "cute player" talk. The MLB All Star game is just a couple weeks away with the teams to be announced on July 6. The voting ends tonight. You can vote for the Brewers online. Outfielder Ryan Braun needs our help as he is currently running just short of the votes needed to beat Chicago Cubs' Kosuke Fukudome. If Braun gets in, it will mark the first time a Milwaukee Brewers outfielder plays in the All Star game since Ben Ogilvie did in 1980. Pretty cool stuff. Though speaking of cool, Braun did pick a poor time to slow down on his hitting going 8-36 on this road trip. Must be the nerves of the national spotlight getting to him. The Crew heads back home on the 4th of July for a long home stand which usually proves positive for the team. Currently, the Brewers sit 4 and a half back from the Cubs and two and a half behind the St. Louis Cardinals. Not bad. Maybe we can make up a little ground before the break. It feels like last year all over again. With the Cubs and Brewers closing the regular season at Miller Park, the potential for some very exciting baseball is high.
