Young Almost Perfect Against Brewers; Brewers Drop to 2-5 on Homestand

Chris Young was nearly perfect against the Milwaukee Brewers Sunday throwing 7 2/3 perfect innings and beat the Crew 10 - 1. It was Young's 1st shutout of the year.

The Brewers continued to struggle mightily at the plate, managing only two hits. On this current homestand the Brewers have scored only 16 runs in seven games. That's not going to get things done, folks!

The Brewers are now 2-5 on this current 10 game homestand and have really missed a golden opportunity to make up ground on the Chicago Cubs who have dropped six of their last seven games.

The Crew are still four games back of the Cubs for the divison lead and are four games ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies in the wildcard battle.

When are the Brewers going to break out of their offesive funk? What are they waiting for? Is this the classic Milwaukee Brewer September fade? Are they waiting for the league to hand them a playoff spot. I don't know and I hope not.

It's time for this team to start picking it up. When is Prince Fielder going to get his act together? He has been awful!! He's one of our team leaders, right?

The Cincinnati Reds are in town for a three game series starting tonight. The Brewers better find a way to win at least two of three. Get it done, Crew!!

What do you think?

It's almost as if they're playing not to lose right now, and that's exactly how a slide can start. Let's dial up the intensity boys!
