Brewers Hire Willie Randolph as Bench Coach; Torres Retires

New Brewers manager Ken Macha has hired Willie Randolph as the new bench coach. I absolutely love the move. Randolph knows what a winning team looks like and has a ton of playoff experience. He should be a great fit working with the likes of Rickie Weeks and other young players. I think he will really help our younger guys with their inconsistencies and bad habits.

On another note, Salomon Torres has announced his retirement. Torres did a nice job for the Crew last year. He filled in nicely in middle relief and then became a decent closer for the Brew. It will be interesting to see how the Brewers fill this void. Good luck Salomon.
