Brewers Beat Astros 4-2; Win 7th Straight

There is another team in the Majors besides the New York Yankees that has won seven straight games.....Your Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers continued their winning ways last night with a 4-2 victory in Houston over the Astros. The Crew continued to get solid starting pitching with Dave Bush who pitched six innings and gave the Brew another quality start. Villanueva and Coffey each pitched a scoreless inning and Trevor Hoffman shut the door on the 'Stros retiring the side in order in the 9th inning.

The Brewers continue to play terrific baseball, folks. They have now won 21 out of their last 26 games, the best in the Majors. The Crew is getting great contribution from many on the roster, not just a few. Timely hitting, great patience at the plate, solid starting pitching and terrific bullpen production have all had a major impact in the Brewers success. Brewers tickets continue to sell in numbers never seen before. It's great to see the fans supporting this team.

The loss of Rickie Weeks is a tough one. I love Rickie and so do his teamates. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. I wish Rickie a complete, speedy recovery.

The loss of Rickie will be tough to overcome for this team, but I think the Crew still has a good chance of continuing its winning ways.

This is a well coached team. I really like what Macha and his staff are doing on a daily bases. They keep this team well grounded and focused. Slow and steady.... It's all about the big picture, no knee jerk decisions.

Way to go Crew!! Great work! We're all behind you guys.
