Brewers Bomb Reds 15-3; Improve to 16-12

Wow! The Milwaukee Brewers are playing some great baseball. The Brewers continued their winning ways with an impressive offensive explosion. Ryan Braun homered and drove in six runs and Craig Counsell collected four hits. JJ Hardy stayed hot on this four day road trip with another round tripper.

The Brewers scored five runs in the 1st inning against Bronson Arroyo, JJ Hardy providing the punch with a three run homer to rightfield.

The Brewers scored four more runs in the 2nd inning with Ryan Braun's grandslam. That was it for Arroyo. He exited the game down 9-0.

The Crew held on to their big lead and added to it in the 9th inning. Prince Fielder belted a two-run shot to rightfield off the Reds' shortstop, Paul Janish. Dusty Baker didn't want to use any more pitchers from his bullpen, so he made his shortstop take one for the team.

Manny Parra pitched six innings and got his first win of the year.

The Crew finishes up a two game series tonight in Cincinnati and returns tomorrow to start a three game series with the Cubs.

Let's keep it going Crew. Great work!!
