Milwaukee Brewers 2010 Roster News

The Milwaukee Brewers are keeping busy in their winter meetings and looking for new recruits to pump up our pitching every day. There have been some new signings and possible trades recently. The largest yet is the three-year, $27 million deal with Randy Wolf. Wolf has an impressive resume, pitching for both the Phillies and the Dodgers and playing for the National All-Star Team in 2003. Randy Wolf will surely help sell the Milwaukee Brewers tickets.

A deal that is still on the table is with a past player, Claudio Vargas. The Brewers are looking to sign this now free-agent on to a one year deal. Vargas has been a great asset to the team thus far, previously a starting pitcher in 2007. He posted a 1.78 ERA in his brief 28 appearances at the end of the summer after being acquired from the Dodgers in July.
