Milwaukee Brewers Tickets Not So Easy For Cubs Fans to Nab

Brewers Tickets

I think that we can safely say that the term Wrigley Field North can be put out to pasture for 2011. The Cubs fans that travelled to Miller Park this weekend drove home disappointed every day. With every score, Brewers fans most certainly drowned out the cheers from Cubbies backers. It was almost a non issue.

Brewers Tickets Bought by Cubs Fans

I understand the concept. Cubs fans that live north of Chicago could just as easily come to Miller Park. The drive is no issue for these commuters. They won't feel lonely at the ballpark. Brewers tickets were easy to come by. That wasn't the case this past weekend. The games were sold out for months. I wonder if Brewers fans have decided to back their team by snapping up those tickets, just to keep the "Flatlanders" out.

Big Brewers Versus Cardinals Series Starts Tuesday

The Brewers host the Cardinals for three days, starting this Tuesday. If the Brew Crew sweeps, you could almost guarantee the NL Central will go their way. On the other hand, things have gone south very quickly for teams that rest on their laurels. One would think that Roenicke won't let those boys get complacent.
