Ryan Braun Wins Appeal, Won't Be Suspended

Great news, Brewers fans! Ryan Braun won his appeal of his positive drug test and won't be suspended for 50 games. Now Brewers fans and players can rest easy knowing that the Brewers left fielder won't have to miss any games this season. Had the decision on Braun not been overturned, he would have had to miss 50 games. He would have been allowed to play during spring training, but not during the regular season. I'm glad we won't have to think about a Braun-less Brewers line up this season. This is also the first time a positive drug test has ever been successfully appealed in the history of major league baseball. What a great day for the Brewers, the fans, and of course Ryan Braun. I don't know about you, but this news is getting me even more excited for the 2012 Brewers season.
