Milwaukee Brewers Regular Season Begins Today vs. St. Louis Cardinals

It's the moment we've all been waiting for! The Milwaukee Brewers regular season begins today vs. the St. Louis Cardinals. Brewers fans have been tailgating outside of Miller Park for hours now as the Brewers opening game will be underway shortly. The National League Central Division champions will take on the reigning World Champions in a game that will likely conjure up memories of the Brewers playoffs run last October. The Milwaukee Brewers couldn't hold off the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLCS last October, which ultimately led to the Cardinals winning the World Series. However, this is a new season and both teams have lost several key players in last year's events. The Brewers have lost Prince Fielder, the Cardinals lost Albert Pujols and manager Tony LaRussa. That doesn't mean the rivalry between the Brewers and Cardinals has gone anywhere.

Today's Brewers vs. Cardinals game will be Gallardo vs. Garcia. Greinke vs. Wainwright on Saturday and Wolf vs. Lynn on Sunday. This year, the Brewers pitching is one of their team's biggest strengths. The Cardinals have been listed as division favorites this season, but there's no telling what our Milwaukee Brewers can do. For now, play ball! Go Brew Crew!
