Milwaukee Brewers Take Series vs. Chicago Cubs 3-1

After the Milwaukee Brewers won their first three games in Chicago, I was certain that they would end up sweeping the Chicago Cubs. Of course, nothing is for certain in baseball and that was made apparent during yesterday's Brewers vs. Cubs game. The Chicago Cubs defeated the Brewers 8-0. Pitching for the Cubs was Matt Garza who allowed only 3 hits from the Brewers. On the other hand, Brewers pitcher Zack Greinke allowed 8 runs from the Cubs. This was the first time Greinke allowed 8 runs since 2010 when the same thing happened against Minnesota. It obviously was not a good day for the Milwaukee Brewers as evidenced when Ryan Braun couldn't catch Cubs' Steve Clevenger's line drive which resulted in a double. It's still the beginning of the season, however, so Greinke has a little bit of time to work out his kinks and get into a better groove. The Brewers head to Atlanta for a weekend series vs. the Atlanta Braves.
