Milwaukee Brewer Norichika Aoki Saves the Day With Home Run

Before Thursday, Milwaukee Brewer Norichika Aoki had only hit one home run. Thursday, Aoki hit two balls out of the ball game, thus securing a Brewers victory over the Chicago Cubs. In the 10th inning, Aoki hit a walk-off home run, making him the first Brewers player to do so this season. Aoki's hit into the bleachers at Miller Park caused the Brewers to defeat the Cubs 4-3. To show their appreciation, teammates congratulated Aoki with a shaving cream pie to the face, compliments of pitcher Shaun Marcum. Thursday's win was a nice change over the disappointing 10-0 loss to the Cubs on Tuesday night. The Brewers season has been a bit of a roller coaster this season with the loss of several key players to injury, but it's always rejuvenating to see players like Aoki step up their game and lead the Brewers to victory. Tonight, the Brewers begin a three-game home series against the San Diego Padres. Let's hope they can keep up the winning streak!
